Hi, I bought my Efergy e2 a month ago for monitoring three fases in my home here in Sweden where we have the same problem with terrible bills as you seems to have in UK. The Efergy e2 is very good and work quite all right. But it could be better! Especially when I found out that I have to place small washers behind the plates for the three batteries plus poles in the transmitter to avoid missreading. The transmitter will not work below -10 C, even with the best quality of batteries. Could also have something to do with air humidity? In the future I think it’s a good idea to have a chassie intake for 6 V also in the transmitter as there already is in the display.

So to the PC-program e2: In Europe the week begins with Monday, not Sunday as in the programme. A Print-out function should be standard for every type of diagramme.

Do’nt use white, yellow and other impossible colors if you are working with your PC outside a dark lab. Example Sundays in “Weekly”, July, November and December in “Monthly”

How can I show my grid-connect solar customers if they are importing or exporting with efergy without turning a light on and seeing if power goes up or down?

@Cnab Firstly, I am sorry for the late reply the website and all entities of it are under reconstruction so I haven’t kept up with the blog. Thank you on your constructive comments about the e2. The transmitter should work fine at this temperature; it is very likely to be the batteries as any alkaline batteries become intermittent below -5°c. I don’t quite understand the use of the washers? As far as the elink pc software is concerned this is currently undergoing a major overhaul, please check our website regularly for the latest update.
    Regards

Im thinking of buying solar panels because I firmly believe in protecting our kids future and securing a cheap energy source for them for many years to come. Have come across a guide about buyingSolar Panels so gonna use it when I buy my panels.
